An Egyptian media personality and writer, He worked as a broadcaster on Voice of the Arabs Radio and as a TV presenter. He published many of his poems in periodicals such as Al-Ahram and Arabic Magazine. His poetry collections include “I Clap or I Don’t Clap (1987). He was awarded the title of Best TV Anchor in 1991. He appeared in the movie Mr. Karate (1993).
